Out of hours emergency
We provide our own 24-hour emergency service, MiNightVet Manchester. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact:

If the reception staff are busy, you may hear a recorded message asking you to hold – do not hang up, a receptionist will answer the phone as soon as they are free.

It is a legal requirement for all veterinary practices to provide an emergency service. If you are not registered at our practice, your own vets may refer you to us to provide that service on their behalf. If you are insured please bring your documentation with you.
We provide an emergency service for many practices in Greater Manchester. On arrival your pet may be triaged by a nurse prior to seeing the vet. In some serious cases your pet may be taken through to the hospital for emergency treatment prior to the vet speaking to you.
There are occasions where the emergency vets may be very busy. If your pet has a minor injury you may have to wait. Unfortunately we must prioritise cases and the most serious are seen first. Therefore a client who arrives after you with a more serious condition may be seen before you if it is deemed more urgent.
In the late evening the front door will be locked. On arrival press the buzzer and the clinical staff will come through to see you. Again, if they staff are busy, you may have to wait a few minutes.

- MiNightVet Manchester is run within the CVS (UK) Ltd; Healthy Pet Club members will still be entitled to 10% off their services.
- An out-of-hours consultation fee payable at the time of consultation will be charged. Please ask when you call for the current fee.
