Here at PetMedics our team has a special interest in our short nosed friends. Our nurses have been through additional training to ensure that we can make any anaesthetic as safe as possible for these breeds (such as Pugs and French Bulldogs).
These breeds present their own particular challenges when it comes to anaesthetic management and are more prone to complications. We have special protocols for these breeds both pre and post-operatively, which help us to minimise the risks for these special patients.
