We are a small animal hospital in Manchester, first established on 1st July 1998, with the emergency clinic opening its doors on 2nd October of the same year. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we offer an emergency service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at our Worsley hospital.
Yvonne has run the shop at PetMedics since 2007 and is known by many of our customers who use it. She has been happily married for almost 30 years to her husband Stuart and is now a grandmother who revels in spending time with her grand-daughter. She has two dogs, one chinchilla and a bearded dragon.
Roxanne started working for PetMedics in November 2015. Prior to this she worked at the RSPCA for 10 years as an animal care assistant. She has a beautiful American Bulldog called Mindi. Roxanne rescued Mindi from an animal shelter at the age of two. She enjoys walking and spending time with her family and friends.
Elaine started working for PetMedics in November 2011. Prior to this she worked as a paralegal dealing in personal injury claims. She started off as a client at PetMedics and was fostering cats. She has now amassed a total of 11 cats, none of which she can bear to part with and has therefore kept them as her own. She enjoys socialising, reading and, of course, looking after her cats.

Rachel started working for PetMedics in Worsley at the beginning of January 2018 – finally achieving one of her personal dreams of working in a veterinary practice! Prior to this, she worked for Guide Dogs for the Blind as a guide dog trainer for 30 years after leaving agricultural college in the mid 1980’s. She also worked as a receptionist in a local GP practice in 2016, but missed the animal contact too much. She has two children, Jake and Georgia, of whom she loves very much and is incredibly proud of. Rachel has two Border Terriers, Sarge and Dylan, who she enjoys walking daily on the moors near her home outside Bolton.
Alyson has been working for PetMedics since 2014 as a cleaner. She has two dogs at home. When she’s not working she is either walking her dogs or looking after her grandson.
