Our certificate-led dermatology service is provided by Silvana Roviello, who is happy to take on prolonged and complex cases that do not respond to the most common treatments, or present unusual lesions.
We strive to offer a full dermatology service – our availability includes:
- Dermatology consultations.
- Full dermatological assessment.
- In-house investigations (including skin scraping, hair pluck, cytology, trichography examination, biopsy, blood profiles, advanced imaging such as computer tomography for assessment of ear diseases, and ear lavage)
- External laboratory testing (including histopathology, hormonal profiles, serology for environmental allergy, microbiology including specific diseases (eg Mycobacteriosis))
- Full treatment plans.
Some skin diseases are manifestation of systemic diseases and sometimes otic problems cannot be resolved with medical treatment. We have Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery certificate holders and we can offer a multi-disciplinary approach to cases.
